The premise
Here’s the bit.
An asteroid threatens Earth, and mission control pins its hopes on a team of astronauts. The crew marches toward its shuttle in a grand cinematic procession until James’s peculiar gait spoils the effect. His teammates offer increasingly fussy instructions and repeatedly restart the walk, valuing an impressive departure over the rapidly shrinking rescue window. James becomes less coordinated with every attempt, and the crew finally settles on a wheeled solution just as disaster catches up with them.
