The premise
Here’s the bit.
Barack prepares a quiet evening with wine and music, but Michelle is too tired to accept his invitation. Luther voices the president’s frustration, while Michelle summons Katendra to explain what his polite requests leave unsaid. Their increasingly fierce translations turn the couple’s disagreement into a standoff. Just as the parents begin to reconnect, Malia arrives with a request of her own and an equally outspoken translator.
