On The Gab, a chatty daytime talk show, Amy and her three co-hosts Mia, Tess and Kelly open with weekend small talk, but every story quickly circles back to their mutual friend Janelle, who apparently committed the offence of greeting Amy with a kiss on both cheeks. The show's Big Issues segment is a dissection of Janelle's sappy Facebook post about a cosy night in with her fiance, and when one host admits she likes him, the others talk her round to agreeing he is weird. A segment devoted to Janelle's Instagram turns to her tuxedo-patterned cat, and the hosts are scandalised to learn it was bought at the mall rather than rescued. When Janelle sends the panel a warm message wishing them luck with their new show, they bristle at her for bothering them at work, then tease an upcoming interview with a personal trainer she saw once.
