Hoping to talk to her recently deceased grandmother one last time, Amy sits down with a bespectacled psychic in a candlelit parlor. The medium soon picks up a different presence: Amy's Uncle Randy, who appears as a glowing blue ghost and announces he will just hang around until Grandma arrives. As the psychic cheerfully passes along his messages, each one makes it clearer what kind of man Randy was, from compliments on how grown up Amy looks to fond memories of the trampoline and swimsuits he kept buying her and his close interest in when she used them. Randy massages her shoulders from beyond the grave and asks after a childhood friend known for sleeping soundly, and Amy finally gets up to leave, just as her grandmother arrives with a request of her own.
