Blackzilla

Chappelle's Show restages a vintage Japanese monster film on miniature Tokyo sets, complete with stiff English subtitles. A giant Blackzilla (Dave Chappelle) strolls through the city, swigging from a rooftop water tower and lighting up a tree to smoke, while the army's rifle volley ends with the soldiers collapsing in his haze. Townspeople gawk at what he reveals, and a lab of scientists releases Godzilla to stop him, setting off a clumsy rooftop brawl that leaves the famous monster beaten. With the city's champion down, Blackzilla turns his attentions to a nearby volcano as the crowd watches in horror and fascination.
