The premise

Here’s the bit.

A practical joke interrupts Jesus’s lunch at work. As he confronts the Devil, documentary-style interviews reveal a history of disruptive office pranks and repeated warnings. Jesus decides to dismiss him, while the Devil insists that he is being blamed for the problems of an overly strict workplace. The disagreement continues into a discussion of what kind of employment reference Jesus might provide.

Highly quotable.

It's like talking to a brick wall, really.

I'm sacked.

Obviously it's not going to be a glowing report.

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

Chris Shepherd later cited Eldon’s performance as the Devil as an inspiration for casting him in the animated short Who I Am and What I Want.
