The premise

Here’s the bit.

A postman enters a quiet front garden with his mailbag and heads straight for a dog kennel. Instead of delivering a letter, he pulls out a silenced pistol and fires into the kennel. He puts the weapon away and leaves with the same matter-of-fact air as someone finishing an ordinary delivery.
