The premise
Here’s the bit.
Shayla keeps arriving late to her call-center job because of her elaborate makeup routine. Her coworker Toni persuades her to try coming in without it, but the next morning Toni reacts as though Shayla is gravely ill. Shayla insists that she feels fine and continues answering coffee orders while her appearance deteriorates and medical equipment materializes around her. Her parents, a reverend and a doctor gather at her desk as the ordinary workday becomes an increasingly elaborate deathbed vigil. After the apparent tragedy, a fresh application of makeup produces one more shock for Toni.
