In Australia, Christmas comes in the summer. And instead of snow, we have sunshine and the beach.
Every year, the Christmas Kangaroo would come, and my father would have to fight him to save Christmas.
And every year, my father would lose... and the kangaroo would take him to brown town.
But we children were spared the horror, and we still got our presents.

In this darkly comedic sketch, host Hugh Jackman delivers a deadpan narration explaining the differences between American and Australian Christmas traditions. He recounts how every Christmas, his father (played by Will Ferrell) would have to fight the Christmas Kangaroo to save Christmas for the children. Unfortunately, his father would always lose the battle, resulting in the kangaroo dragging him to "brown town" and sodomizing him while the family watches in horror. Despite this traumatic annual event, the children are spared and still receive their presents. The sketch combines Jackman's sincere, nostalgic narration style (reminiscent of classic Christmas specials) with absurdist physical comedy featuring Ferrell in an exaggerated Australian accent getting beaten up by someone in a kangaroo costume. The juxtaposition of wholesome holiday storytelling with crude humor creates the comedic tension, with Jackman barely able to keep a straight face throughout.

Sketch went viral on YouTube with over 846,000 views. Hugh Jackman reportedly pushed for this sketch to be included in the episode. Jackman visibly struggles to maintain composure throughout the sketch. Features Will Ferrell's absurd attempt at an Australian accent. The sketch parodies nostalgic Christmas TV specials with stop-motion animation style narration.
