Fire Marshal Bill (Jim Carrey) conducts a safety inspection on a space station, causing chaos and mayhem in zero gravity as he demonstrates various safety hazards in his trademark reckless manner. In this sketch, Bill performs dangerous stunts including soaking his hand in liquid nitrogen and smashing it with a hammer, drinking an alien from a jar which then bursts from his stomach, shattering a window with a high-pitched note that pulls a doctor into space, and ultimately arming the self-destruct sequence of the space station. Unable to find the right key to disarm it in time, the station is vaporized. The sketch ends with Bill piloting a space shuttle into the sun.
