A little backstory.
Damon Wayans and Jim Carrey play the Reverend Ed Cash and Dr. Carl Pathos, a pair of tag-team television evangelists whose broadcast sermons are really pitches for viewers' money. The series debuted in season two of In Living Color in 1990 and returned with the discount-sin "595 Club" episode in 1991.
