Dave Grohl is an American musician whose Saturday Night Live comedy appearances include the Cornhole Guy in Lake Beach. Alongside his many visits as a musical performer, the guest role places him inside the show’s comic celebration of a decidedly unglamorous lakeside getaway.
Grohl first became internationally known as Nirvana’s drummer and founded Foo Fighters after the band ended. He has also played with Scream, Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures. His work beyond recording includes directing the documentary Sound City, writing the memoir The Storyteller and appearing with Foo Fighters in the horror comedy Studio 666.
