The premise
Here’s the bit.
A young couple sits down for a date at a restaurant with a science-fiction theme. As Heather tries to keep the conversation going with Tony, the waiters transform each stage of the meal into another routine: menus arrive with an alien-style disturbance, salad service takes on mystical powers, and ordering wine brings out a familiar space doctor. Movie impressions and physical gags keep interrupting the pair, until even paying the bill becomes part of the performance.
