Aisha Tyler: "That's what we do here at Whose Line: make dreams come true every day."
Lea Thompson: "I'm a big Star Trek fan, so I always wish there were a transporter, because I hate traveling."
Aisha Tyler sets up a round of Duet for Wayne Brady and Jonathan Mangum, with Laura Hall and Linda Taylor on the band stand, and welcomes special guest Lea Thompson to the stage. Before the game, Ryan Stiles apologizes to Thompson for his shaky earlier take on Back to the Future and checks a plot detail with her. Tyler then asks the pair to sing about their guest in the style of techno. Thompson explains that, as a Star Trek fan who hates travelling, she has always wanted a transporter, and Brady and Mangum build that into a thumping club track about whisking her off in a DeLorean, complete with cheeky nods to her role as Marty McFly's mother, while Thompson dances between them.
Guest Lea Thompson played Lorraine Baines, Marty McFly's mother, in the 1985 film Back to the Future, which the song repeatedly references.
