Synopsis
Sitting at a candlelit desk with a microphone and a stack of papers, Bruce recounts a long, fruitless search for love. Everyday errands, social outings and earnest self-improvement all disappoint him, while stranger experiments offer only temporary distractions. His mournful recital grows more absurd as he discovers that writing about his loneliness provides another obligation instead of the connection he wants.
