The premise

Here’s the bit.

A man in a suit and fedora narrates his morning with the gravity of a film-noir hero. On his way to work, he abruptly decides to assassinate the American president, then abandons that mission when a woman at the station catches his eye. His next discoveries are the pleasures of operating a floor buffer and the urgent need to attack a stranger he mistakes for his sister's ex. A taxi ride somehow leads to Morocco, followed by a shipwreck he claims to have caused over an argument about dolphins. Exhausted on a beach, he wonders what he originally meant to do that day.
