The premise

Here’s the bit.

Bruce sits up in bed with a bright yellow book and reads a day-by-day account of an impossibly long hangover. His narrator struggles to recover while discovering an unexpected drinking companion, unanswered messages from his girlfriend, and alarming changes to his senses. Small improvements give way to more confusion: he learns he has lost his job and tries to attract attention with a press conference. An attempt to win his girlfriend back ends with a promise to stop drinking, followed by a celebratory drink that sends the whole ordeal back to the beginning.
