Butcher Shop

While his mother gets a makeover, Gavin visits a butcher shop and keeps its proprietor busy with questions about meat, animals and growing up. His chatter swerves through swimming lessons, vacations and family troubles, wearing down the butcher’s patience. Even a discussion of his own head becomes another opportunity for Gavin to haggle before he finally leaves.
