The Origin of Job Interviews

Three tribal interviewers assess a caveman who wants to join their group. Hunting experience proves less useful than his ability to explain his ambitions, justify leaving his previous tribe and account for a gap in his work history. He tries to adjust each answer to suit the panel, but his question about food reveals an unwelcome concern with pay. After he leaves, the next applicant arrives with a broken stone CV, and the weary interviewers brace for more.
