The premise

Here’s the bit.

Pete Phillpott reports live from Tring on a jetpack that has become an overnight sales sensation. As people zoom past and collide behind him, he interviews inventor Mark Pelmer about the device's safety. Pelmer calmly lists features designed to prevent mechanical disasters, drawing a careful distinction between a reliable machine and the people strapped to it. The reporter remains enthusiastic enough to ask for a demonstration, and the two prepare to try the jetpacks together. Their joint departure immediately undermines the inventor's reassurances.
