John Belushi • Cast
Little Chocolate Donuts
Synopsis
An athletic endorsement introduces John Belushi as a decathlon champion, showing him clearing the high jump and overtaking the other runners. At his breakfast table, he credits a plate of chocolate-covered donuts for his performance while holding a lit cigarette. The ad returns to his sporting triumphs and presents the donuts as a champion’s secret weapon.
Notes
Director James Signorelli recalled that Belushi wore his own sweater backward for the breakfast scene to conceal a moth hole, according to Ultimate Classic Rock’s account of the oral history Live From New York.
