The premise
Here’s the bit.
A visitor offers condolences after Fluffy’s death, only to discover that the cat’s owner has preserved him and started making him talk. The owner defends his handiwork as an alternative to burial and cremation, then pitches taxidermy for museums, lodges and home decorations. His questionable animal creations and plans to find more subjects leave the visitor increasingly uneasy, until the owner reveals why he invited him over.
