I'm Not Bad, Right?

After 17 years at the firm, Kathleen Drake is named its first female partner, and her boss Paul invites her to say a few words. She barely starts describing how hard the job has sometimes been for a woman before Paul cuts in to ask for reassurance about himself. One by one the men around the conference table do the same, polling her about individual colleagues and then the whole room, while one stands to justify the time he complimented her eyes. When she tells a colleague on the speakerphone he's fine too, the others scold her for the stress she put him through, and her exasperated reply only earns him more apologies. When a whistling stranger turns up in the doorway, the room decides he might be the real problem, Paul happily heads off to confront the scapegoat, and the meeting drifts back to whose eyes look nice.

Rolling Stone named it one of the 20 best Portlandia sketches. IFC released the clip in December 2017 as a preview of the show's final season.
