After a noisy introduction from the Gumbys, two developers hear competing proposals for a residential tower. The first architect enthusiastically describes a building designed to process its tenants like livestock, then turns their rejection into a furious complaint about exclusion from the Freemasons. His replacement offers a conventional tower whose scale model repeatedly collapses and catches fire during the presentation. The clients dismiss its safety problems as unnecessary expense and welcome the architect with an elaborate handshake, leaving the first man convinced that club connections matter more than design.
