The premise
Here’s the bit.
F.G. Superman conceals a remarkable talent beneath his cape: he can mend bicycles. When a damaged bike leaves his fellow Supermen helpless, he slips into work clothes and comes to the rescue. Routine adjustments become feats of derring-do, complete with comic-book captions. The admiring commentary then veers into a furious political outburst, until the narrator is called in for tea.
