The premise

Here’s the bit.

Black Spy follows his rival into an embassy and spots him reading in bed at an upper window. Attempts to reach White Spy send him back and forth between the street and the window with a rope, a ladder and a magnet. The final cutaway reveals the extraordinary height of White Spy’s bed.
