Quotes

I am a raging storm of unrequited love. A tempest of righteous fury.
I will pummel you like hailstones on a Honda.
You better batten down the hatches, O'Brien, because this forecast calls for pain!

Synopsis

Andy introduces his 13-year-old sister Stacy, back in the studio audience with her new boyfriend Kyle, a quiet classmate who knows his state capitals. Andy teases that she is finally over her crush on Conan and has the control room put up a photo of her bedroom, which is papered with Conan's face. Conan tries to be gracious, but when he says he's glad she has found someone her own age, Stacy admits she brought Kyle only to make him jealous, sends the boy away and launches into a storm-themed vow of revenge, high-fiving the crowd as she goes. Max Weinberg calms her with heartfelt words from the drum kit, so Stacy promptly asks him out instead. When Max agrees, a furious Andy chases them both out of the studio and hauls his sister away down a backstage hallway while Conan scolds Max from the desk.

Notes

This was the first sketch Brian Stack wrote for Late Night and the debut of Stacy, played by Amy Poehler, his former colleague from the Chicago improv scene. Stacy went on to return as a running character.
