I was going to bring a guy I met on match.com, but after we exchanged photos, I never heard from him again.
I'll tell you what the Pilgrims did bring: smallpox. It killed scores of Native Americans, ravaging their population.
Did you guys get tested? Well, you know, you think you know someone, and then you see that 'Oprah' about 'living on the down low.'
I hope it's the version of her before she was in the grips of dementia. Otherwise, she'd just be confused.
Did you factor in the loss of life at the hands of the African diamond industry?
It's the number one killer of domestic cats.
Guess who's got eczema?
Well, I guess it's just you and me, Mr. Turkey.
You know who's excited about Christmas? The credit card companies.

During a family Thanksgiving dinner, Debbie Downer (Rachel Dratch) repeatedly interrupts the pleasant conversation with depressing facts and negative observations. While her family tries to enjoy the holiday, Debbie brings up topics including match.com rejection, Chinese typhoons, bird flu, smallpox brought by the Pilgrims, sexually transmitted diseases, her grandmother's dementia, foodborne illnesses in stuffing, and the blood diamond industry. When Mark (Luke Wilson) proposes to Michelle (Amy Poehler) with a diamond ring, even this romantic moment is ruined by Debbie's comment about African diamond industry deaths. After Mark confronts her about also ruining the parade with talk of Al Qaeda and feline AIDS, the family eventually abandons the table one by one, leaving Debbie alone with the turkey - which then literally walks away from her, leaving her completely alone. Each of Debbie's depressing comments is punctuated by the signature "wah-wah" sad trombone sound effect.
