"You might need a crowbar"

In this surreal and anxiety-inducing sketch, Beck Bennett plays a man searching for his friends (Kyle Mooney and others) on New Year's Eve to get his midnight kiss. The sketch becomes increasingly absurd and dream-like as he chases them through various venues - bars, clubs, a sewer, and across the city - only to always arrive moments after they've departed for somewhere else. Each location becomes more bizarre as the frustrating chase continues, perfectly capturing the nightmarish feeling of trying to reach somewhere in a dream where you can never quite get there. Despite his best efforts and increasingly desperate pursuit, he remains perpetually one step behind his oblivious friends.

This was a "Cut for Time" sketch that did not air during the original December 16, 2017 episode. Uploaded to YouTube on December 18, 2017. The sketch was expensive to produce, featuring multiple locations and green screen effects. Has garnered 1.9+ million views and strong viewer response.
