The parade of holiday card clichés includes: an ultra-white suburban Christian family in matching outfits with impossibly blonde children; an oversharing pregnant cousin in chef hats who has been "never not pregnant" for seven years; a wealthy gay couple holding their ancient, medically-expensive dog Pablo who "needs a new spine"; a passive-aggressive wealthy frenemy named Harper in matching pajamas with a long braggy list; a mysterious widow friend who might be a lesbian; a dentist appointment reminder disguised as a Christmas card; and someone who met Miley Cyrus at a restaurant 11 months ago. The sketch satirizes the performative nature of holiday cards and the various annoying types people receive each year.
