Greg (Paul Rudd), an English-speaking American who missed his flight out of Miami, finds himself with a ticket to the legendary Spanish-language variety show "Sábado Gigante" hosted by Chilean TV star Don Francisco (Marcello Hernández). Despite not speaking a word of Spanish, Greg is called to the stage as "mi gringo favorito" and becomes an unwilling contestant.\n\nWhen asked to choose a number, Greg picks "uno" and accidentally unveils a melting "Miami Frosty" (Frosty the Snowman crying "Yo soy agua" in the Miami sun), prompting Don Francisco to ask with mock horror, "Como se dice, 'You killed him'?" The chaos escalates as Greg is swept through the show's signature over-the-top segments, including musical performances, dancers, the appearance of Christmas Dracula (Emil Wakim), and the recurring character El Chacal (Bowen Yang) with his trumpet.\n\nIn typical Sábado Gigante fashion, when Greg is asked if Christmas is strong and stammers "Cuatro," he's entered into a million-dollar contest he doesn't understand. The sketch culminates with Greg being awarded a "nueva familia" (new family) as a prize - complete with multiple family members he desperately doesn't want, yelling "I don't want this!" as the show ends.\n\nThe sketch is performed mostly in Spanish with English subtitles and is a highly accurate parody of the real long-running variety show that aired for decades.

This sketch received enthusiastic approval from the real Don Francisco, who gave his blessing to Marcello's portrayal. The sketch is a love letter to Latino culture and brings back memories for many who watched the original show with their families on Saturday nights. Features callbacks to the first Sábado Gigante sketch including Celia Cruz's phrase "Your English very good looking". The sketch authentically captures the chaotic, over-the-top nature of the real Sábado Gigante, including its signature elements: costume changes, dancers, random prizes, musical interludes, and the show's tendency to gift contestants with bizarre prizes. Marcello Hernández changes hats throughout like the real Don Francisco did. El Chacal's appearance is a recurring element from the original sketch series. Paul Rudd made multiple cameo appearances throughout the December 21, 2024 episode. The real Sábado Gigante ran for decades and was a cultural phenomenon in Spanish-speaking households. Comments indicate that everything depicted in the sketch actually happened on the real show - it's not exaggerated. The sketch is mostly in Spanish with English subtitles, making it inclusive while authentic. Many viewers praised how the humor crosses the language barrier effectively.
