If you have hate in your heart, let it out!
I am in no way shape or form involved in any n*ggerdom.
Breathing all the white man's air.
The only person sleeping with my sister is gonna be ME!!!
I'm overwhelmed by the irony.
America's at war with Al-Qaeda, but we're still losing the war against Al Sharpton.
WHITE POWER!

In this mockumentary sketch from the very first episode of "Chappelle's Show," a news program called "Frontline" profiles the life and work of Clayton Bigsby, a blind, virulent racist who is unaware that he is a Black man. The interviewer, Kent Wallace, follows Clayton as he promotes his racist books, interacts with his followers, and reveals the shocking truth of his identity to a stunned crowd, leading to chaos and confusion. The sketch is a biting satire on racism and identity.

The character of Clayton Bigsby was inspired by Dave Chappelle's maternal grandfather, who was a blind white man raised by a Black family and identified as Black. The actor who played the interviewer, William Bogert, passed away in 2020. This was the first sketch in the first episode of the series.
