A satirical sketch about a deadly roller coaster called "The Devastator" at Thrill World amusement park. Despite the ride having extreme and fatal features (200 mph speed, 90-degree turns, two minutes underwater), people continue to line up to ride it even after witnessing multiple deaths. The sketch parodies news coverage of tragedies and the commercial exploitation of disasters. The sketch features interviews with various people including survivors, family members, and emergency responders. Bob Odenkirk's character survives the ride while his brother dies, and immediately gets back in line wearing an "I Survived the Devastator" t-shirt. The dark comedy highlights society's fascination with danger and the absurdity of continuing dangerous behaviors despite obvious fatal consequences.
