A slapstick comedy sketch set in St. John Thomas Hospital featuring Benny Hill in multiple roles. The sketch begins with the grand opening of the hospital on April 25, 1984, when the ribbon is cut by Lady Shaver. Inside the men's ward, a sexy nurse excites all the male patients. The sketch follows various comedic hospital scenarios including a doctor trying to get sponge baths from a nurse by disguising himself as different patients (including covering himself in polish to impersonate a black patient), nurses using unconventional methods like karate to remove casts and trumpets to wake patients, and general hospital chaos. The "doctor" is eventually revealed to be just a painter who was supposed to finish a job and flees through the women's ward. The tag sequence includes the trademark Benny Hill chase scene with a unique moment where Benny stops to remove an annoying hair/thread appearing in the footage - a gag borrowed from the 1952 MGM cartoon "Magical Maestro" by Tex Avery.
