The sketch parodies the tradition of players introducing themselves before college bowl games, with names that become progressively more absurd as the introductions proceed. The East Team features players from various colleges across the Eastern United States, while the West Team includes players from Western schools as well as some non-traditional sources like online classes and home schooling. The sketch concludes with a token white player with a more conventional name, "A.A. Ron Balakay" (a callback to the Mr. Garvey substitute teacher sketch) representing Morehouse College, an historically black college.
