See more The Universe

A parody of PBS-style documentary shows (such as Nova), featuring Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim in the personas of Dr. Jimes Tooper and Dr. H. Donna Gust, presenting an absurdist educational segment examining and discussing the mysteries of the universe. The sketch features their characteristic deadpan delivery and surreal humor as they use bizarre analogies and metaphors to explain cosmic mysteries. The three-part sketch includes discussions of space imagery, stars, planets, and the nature of the universe using nonsensical comparisons to everyday objects like hands, hot dog buns, tubes, and paper bags.

The universe... what a concept.
The universe is really really really really really really really really fun! To think about taking a speed of light ride.
If we were to put the entire universe into a tube, it would be a very long tube. Probably double the size of the universe.
2 x Universe = Tube
Picture a hot dog bun... actually, put all of the stars into a paper grocery bag.
