Larry and Bobbi Farber (John Belushi, Gilda Radner) welcome their new neighbors, The Coneheads (Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtin, Laraine Newman), over for dinner and drinks. The alien family from the planet Remulak (though they claim to be from France) tries to blend in with human customs, but their peculiar behavior becomes increasingly obvious. The sketch reaches its climax when Larry brings out a cone-shaped salon hairdryer, causing the terrified Coneheads to believe it's a torture device and dive head-first through the living room window to escape.
