What's Your Name Sir? / Sound Name

A man with an unusual name, Derrick Nippl-e, visits a police station to report a car mishap (lost property). The police sergeant attempts to take down his particulars, but every time the man spells out his name and address, sound effects occur - "Nippl-e" involves dropping a lighter, and his street address "Slap" involves tap dancing and slapping. The sketch is a brilliant example of physical comedy combined with wordplay, as the police officer (Stephen Fry) repeatedly suffers comic violence while trying to take down simple contact information. The sketch breaks the fourth wall at the end when Hugh Laurie complains that Stephen Fry hit him too hard with the cricket bat, to which Fry responds "Oh diddums."

N-I-P-P-L hyphen E.
Nipple? Where? What are you talking about?
I thought the modern policeman was supposed to be a highly trained law enforcement unit. You can't even spell.
My address is Number twenty-two... [tapdances, slaps] ...Kings Lynn.
Never mind the fucking sketch! That was too hard. That really hurt.
Oh diddums. Did the nasty actor hit the poor little twerp...
He's just a child really.
It's as it sounds.
Have you gone mad? What's the matter with you?
