A groundbreaking pre-taped mockumentary in which Eddie Murphy goes undercover in whiteface makeup to explore racial inequalities in America. Murphy masquerades as "Mr. White" and discovers exaggerated differences in treatment, including free newspapers at convenience stores, a party atmosphere on public buses when no black people are present, and easy bank loans without collateral. The sketch is a parody of the 1961 nonfiction book "Black Like Me" by journalist John Howard Griffin.
