A little backstory.
Monty Python’s Flying Circus sketches in which Rita Fairbanks (Eric Idle) introduces the Batley Townswomen’s Guild’s latest historical re-enactment, which immediately becomes a handbag-swinging brawl among the other members, played by the Pythons in drag. The guild staged the Battle of Pearl Harbour in series one and the first heart transplant in series two.
