A little backstory.
J.J. Sedelmaier is an animator and producer whose studio has made short animated comedy for television. He and Patrice Sedelmaier founded J.J. Sedelmaier Productions in 1990. Its work includes the first season of Beavis and Butt-Head, the pilot of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and Saturday Night Live’s Saturday TV Funhouse cartoons.
His collaboration with Robert Smigel began with the 1992 SNL commercial parody The Cluckin’ Chicken, combining animation with live action. Later projects included The Ambiguously Gay Duo and The X-Presidents. Sedelmaier has described the studio’s emphasis on short productions, stylistic variety and a small creative team.
