The person behind the punchline
A little backstory.
Debi Gaye is an English actress and dancer who performed with the Hill's Angels on The Benny Hill Show in the early 1980s, appearing in several sketches as well as dance numbers. In St. John Thomas Hospital (1984) she plays the nurse whose reflex test leaves the bogus doctor doubled over. Little else about her career is documented.
